What is Perm Hair?

So,  if you who want to get not-too curly result or just beach waves, digital perm is the perfect choice. The process itself takes about four hours.

Ceramic Perm

Unlike digital perms, ceramic perms require higher heat treatment, so the curls will last longer. The curls look shaper especially at the ends of the hair. Because they make hair curlier, this perm style can reduce the overall length of your natural hair. For you that have coarser and stronger hair, this ceramic perm technique is worth a try. The process is almost the same as a digital perm, which takes about four hours.

Classic Perm

One of the traditional perm or we refer as cold perm where the intensity of the curls can be determined according to your wishes. The perm style can also be adjusted. To complete the perming process, it takes about three hours to get maximum results. Moreover, this technique is suitable for all hair types.

Treatment for Permed Hair

The important thing about the perm treatment is avoid to wash the hair for at least 24 hours after perm process is done. After having curly hair, you need a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to keep the hair healthy and soft.

Can perm damage your hair?

If your hair is heavily bleached or colored, you can’t do a hair perm to keep your hair strong.

Can Permed Hair Back to natural Hair?

If you want to go back to your natural hair, all you have to do is wait for your hair to grow and cut off the rest of the perm to get back to your natural hair. So, hair perm is of course a commitment, right!

How Long Does Permed Last?

The perm will last depending on how spirally you want your hair to be permed. If you prefer very tight curls, they tend to break more slowly but the regrowth lines will be more obvious.

If the curls are much looser, the regrowth lines will be less visible, so the hair looks more natural as the perm grows out. The average perm will last three to four months.
