What’s On My Vanity: My Honest Review of 5 Yves Rocher Scents
Honestly, I was on the hunt for a new rose fragrance when a lovely beauty advisor at Yves Rocher introduced me to their collection. The first one I sniffed, Evidence Intense, immediately caught my attention – it was a beautiful, true rose scent. Then, I took home a tester strip of Garden Party, and that sealed the deal. I was hooked, and before I knew it, I had a collection of five bottles!

Here are the Yves Rocher perfumes I’ve added to my collection, along with my very honest thoughts:
Plein Soleil
I actually bought this one because the dry-down on the tester strip at home was so lovely. But when I actually wore it daily, it felt a bit too strong for me. The tuberose is quite intense, and it has a slightly warm feel, which isn’t always ideal for warmer days. However, if you’re into heavy white floral scents, this could be your perfect match!
Comme une Evidence
This is a winner for me! I get so many compliments when I wear this one. The rose scent is incredibly intense, making it an affordable “signature” scent for me. It feels very feminine and girly. Plus, it really lasts longer on the skin compared to the non-“Intense” version of Evidence. I’m definitely going to repurchase this once I finish my current bottle.
L’Evidence
After finishing my Plein Soleil, I wanted something a little different. In this one, the peach is sweet and dominates, but you can still pick up the magnolia. It’s a girly perfume with lovely florals. There’s a sweetness to it, but it’s not overpowering or cloying – it’s a pleasant sweetness that makes it a beautiful choice for everyday wear. It also smells fresh and clean, making it perfect for summer and spring.
Garden Party
This is another absolute favorite of mine! My husband loves it too – he actually wears it all the time! It’s incredibly well-blended and quite girly, yet it has that fresh undertone that could make it appealingly unisex. This is definitely a safe blind buy if you’re looking for something new and lovely.
Oui L’Amour
As a huge fan of rose scents, this one totally delivers! It’s a soft, slightly herbal rose with noticeable hints of tonka and a woody base. It’s simple yet elegant, not too loud, and it lingers beautifully without ever becoming annoying. A really good one!
